Final stop of the taronja exodus on the Brose Bamberg’s court

Valencia Basket closes a cycle of five away games in six matches visiting for the first time in their European history the Brose Bamberg’s court (Thursday 23, 20: 00h, Brose Arena, Movistar Sports 2) in a game in which the taronja squad will try to break their bad streak in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague that has led them to chain four consecutive losses. The taronja team will try to extend their good run in Germany (Valencia Basket has won in their last five visits to the German country) with a full infirmary.

 

The long-term injuries of Antoine Diot and Latavious Williams are joined by the absences of Alberto Abalde (strain in the distal insertion of his left quadriceps tendon), Bojan Dubljevic (sternocostal contusion and tendinitis in the Achilles of the left leg) and Rafa Martínez (viral gastroenteritis). Center Tibor Pleiss has become one of the great attractions of the game, as he will return for the first time as a taronja player to the court where he took his first steps in the Euroleague in the 2010-11 season, when he was part of our tomorrow’s opponent. Valencia Basket comes to this round 9 as 12th classified, with a 3-5 in their standings.
